01
Funding
What is being bought, and from whom.
A merchant cash advance is a purchase. We buy a set share of the receipts your business is going to take over the coming weeks, and we pay you for that share now, as one amount. What arrives in your account is the price of a sale you have made, not a sum handed over on the understanding that it comes back with something added.
That distinction is not wording. It decides what happens on a slow week. Because you have sold a share rather than agreed a sum, what leaves your account moves with what comes into it. A quiet week remits less. A busy one remits more, and finishes sooner.
It is also why nothing here is quoted as a rate. A rate describes something running over time. This does not run: the total is agreed once, before you accept, and it is the same figure on the last day as on the first.
Not a schedule
There is no instalment date, so there is nothing to miss and nothing to be late on.
Not interest
The cost is a figure in dollars fixed at the start. Nothing accrues, so nothing grows if it takes longer.
Commercial only
Receivables are business income. This is not available for personal, family or household purposes.

The lower row is the upper row, smaller.
Illustrative. There is no number in this figure and nothing in it can be read as a rate or a price — the share and the total are set on your offer and nowhere else.

Four words, defined once.
Term
In this brief
On a fixed-term plan
- The purchase
- A set share of your future receivables, bought at an agreed figure and paid to you as one amount today.
- A sum advanced against a repayment calendar.
- The cost
- One fixed figure in dollars, written on the offer and agreed before you accept. It does not move afterwards and nothing is added for settling early.
- An interest rate, usually expressed as an annual percentage rate.
- The remittance
- A small share of daily receipts, collected automatically. It rises and falls with your takings, so a slow week costs you less than a busy one.
- A fixed instalment on a fixed date, the same either way.
- The end
- The day the agreed amount has been met. Nothing renews, nothing rolls over, and there is no balance left waiting to be refinanced.
- The end of the term, or the day it is refinanced into another one.

Security & trust
Bank-gradeBuilt on trust, because it’s your business on the line.
Protection isn’t something we bolt on at the end. It’s how the whole request is built, and it’s the reason a careful owner can move fast here without ever feeling exposed.

Real people, on your side of the table
Bank-grade 256-bit encryption
Every field you enter is encrypted in transit and at rest with AES-256, sent over TLS, and never sold.
Checking won't affect your credit
Seeing what you qualify for is a soft enquiry only. No hard pull to request funding, and no score impact for looking.
Vetted funding partners only
SafeAmount connects you with reviewed, reputable purchasers, never an open marketplace. You see each agreement in full before signing.
No upfront fees, ever
SafeAmount never asks you to pay a fee in advance in exchange for a promise of funding. Anyone who does is not us.
A merchant cash advance is a purchase of future receivables offered for commercial purposes only. Meeting our minimums does not guarantee an offer, and any figures shown here are illustrative rather than a decision.
04
Three steps, one of which is waiting.

- 01
Request
Set the amount and answer nine questions. There are no documents to dig out first and nothing to sign at this stage.
2-3 minutes
- 02
Review
We read the last three months of receipts through a read-only bank connection. This is the step you wait on, and it is the only one.
Minutes, not days
- 03
Funded
Accept the offer and the money moves. As soon as the next business day for most approved requests.
Next business day
No figure on this page is one you will not also see, in writing, before you accept.
No rate is quoted here because there is no rate. No cost is quoted here because the cost is set on the offer, in dollars, and locked before you sign anything.
05
What has to be true first.
All five, before a request is worth making. There is no score check in here and no personal guarantee to sign.
These are the conditions we check on every request. Meeting them is not an approval, and nothing on this page is an offer of funding.
- 01
Trading for three months
Counted from the first day you took money, not the day the business was registered.
- 02
$5,000 a month in revenue
Deposits, card settlements and cash takings together. It does not have to be profit.
- 03
A business bank account
In the business name, at a US bank, with the last three months of statements available.
- 04
Based in one of forty-eight states
We fund everywhere except California and New York.
- 05
Using it for the business
Stock, payroll, repairs, a bill that came early. Not personal, family or household spending.
06
The ones asked most often.
What exactly is an advance?
It is the purchase of a portion of your future receivables. You get a lump sum today and remit an agreed share of what you take from then on, until the agreed amount is met. It is a sale, not a repayment schedule.
What does it cost?
One fixed dollar figure, agreed before you accept anything. It is not an interest rate, it does not compound, and it does not change if the advance takes longer to remit than expected.
Will this affect my score?
Making a request does not affect your score. A funder may run its own checks before making an offer, and it will tell you before it does.
How fast does the money arrive?
Most approved requests get a decision within minutes and funds as soon as the next business day. Verification of your bank statements is the step that decides the pace.
What happens in a slow week?
Remittance is a share of what you take, so a quieter week remits less than a busy one. There is no fixed monthly instalment to miss.
Do I have to put up collateral?
Nothing is pledged to SafeAmount. Where a third-party funder provides the financing, its own agreement sets out any security it asks for, and you see that agreement in full before you sign it.
Which states can apply?
Forty-eight. This product is not offered in California or New York, and availability and terms vary elsewhere by state.
Who actually funds the advance?
SafeAmount connects qualifying businesses with funding partners. Where a partner provides the financing, that partner's Revenue Purchase Agreement governs the transaction and SafeAmount is not a party to it.
Let’s get your business funded.
No rate quoted anywhere, nothing on this page is an offer, and every field is encrypted. If it fits, the request takes two or three minutes and there are no documents to find first.
Checking your options does not affect your score.
